A 30-year Reinvention Story of Cultural Depth, Discipline, Artistry and Resilience.

Born in Romania, Angelica immigrated to Canada at 24 speaking very little English. An artistic spirit drawn to music and poetry, she had already been a child performer and rising talent in Romania's pop and musical theatre world. Once in Canada, persistence and self-discipline became her closest companions, as she embarked on a journey of healing her heart and re-discovering her passion for music and writing.

Her journey has been anything but conventional. She graduated from Fitness at Seneca College in Toronto and worked in the wellness field for 15 years. In parallel, she continued honing her craft, writing books on habit-building and wellness, writing and illustrating a children's book, and expanding her musical skills with fearless devotion. She studied piano and music theory in her 40s and taught herself music production and orchestration in her early 50s, in order to fully realize the cinematic sound she envisioned for her music. Although her path has not been easy, Angelica has carved out a place for herself through the strength of her voice and heart. Despite her success, she remains modest in the face of praise but grand on stage.

Today, 30 years later, Angelica is living proof that creativity has no expiration date. Rooted in deliberate reinvention, her work reflects what can happen when discipline meets artistry. "This is what 30 years of not giving up looks like." she says with a laugh.

Angelica is the recipient of the Award of Excellence from Canpak Chamber of Commerce. She is the author of 3 books: Remember Who You Are (Short Stories, 2010), Habits Rule You (2017, 2026 upcoming revised edition), and children's book which she also illustrated Love Is Light: Transmute Fear Into Love (2025) - also available in 2 bilingual editions: English/French and Romanian/English. Though available in 3 languages, Love Is Light carries a universal message: choose love over fear - remember that everything is worthy of compassion, even the parts of ourselves we don't always understand.

In 2010 Angelica released her first original English album titled Remember Who You Are, accompanied by a book of short stories describing the inspiration behind each track. Remember Who You Are was followed by Classical album Sacred (2015), Christmas (2018), international song collaboration We Will Overcome (2021) - for which she produced the vocals of the 50 participant singers - I Believe (2024), and symphonic pop original Love Is Light (2026) along with its Romanian version Aripi de Lumina (2026). By releasing Love Is Light in both English and Romanian, Angelica honors her roots while embracing the country that shaped her second act.

When in 2019 Angelica was asked to do a talk about her life journey, she created a song-and-storytelling show titled The Story Behind My Song. With wit, humour and candor, she takes audiences on a fascinating ride and ends with an unexpected message. "You shared with us a fascinating life journey and managed to redefine success for us all." said Doreen Scott-Dunne, Program Director at Central Peel Mixed Probus Group, Canada. Six years later, The Story Behind My Song continues to receive praises for its emotional impact and stunning vocal performances. Her voice has been described as "angelic" and "soul soothing" with readers and listeners alike noting the emotional depth of her work.

Angelica's story is reinvention by design: always learning, always creating, and always grounded in authenticity.
